Welcome Monarch Parents! Hello My Fellow Monarch Parents, My name is James (Jim) Terell and my son, Kevin Terell is a freshmen and a member of Lamda Chi Alpha here at Methodist University. I've been married to the same wonderful woman, Andrea for over 25 years. Besides Kevin, we have two other wonderful children, Christopher who is twenty years old and Brooke who is a high school junior of Union Pines High School. It is truly an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of the Parent’s Advisory Council (PAC) of the Methodist University Parent's Association. It is a position that I hold dear to my heart and will do my best to ensure that we are successful under my tenure. I must first thank Scott Sawyer, former PAC president for all of the work he has done and the path that he has laid for me and the students, staff and faculty of Methodist University. We thank you Scott. It is my hopes that I can continue to improve on the great work that he has already done. As your President, it is my goal with the assistance of the Methodist’s faculty and staff, to ensure that you are receiving concise information, program growth and to have more parents to become active with the Parent's Association. I will become an information hub for you and assist you with any problems. As we move forward, I hope that you will reach out to me, jimt1958@live.com and or the Director of the Parent Program, Katrina Stanley-Blue, to assist with any reasonable problems or concerns. I echo the thoughts of the former President, Scott and say that collectively we are a strong voice for our sons and daughters here at the school. So let us use it wisely!
